Entry Information and Rules

Exhibitor Eligibility:
- Open to all ARI registered alpacas.
- All entries are made in the name of the registered animal.
- Exhibitors can exhibit as many alpacas as they choose.
- All youth ages 8 through 18 as of January 1 of the calendar year may enter youth classes. A youth who is 7 on January 1, but who becomes 8 during the year, is eligible to show in junior classes as of the date of their birthday.
- Youth must have written permission (signature on entry forms) of a parent, project leader, 4-H advisor, or FFA advisor to participate in a Youth event.
- Youth may exhibit one entry per class.
- Youth must show in appropriate age division. Divisions may be combined at the option of Show Management if there are less than 10 total youths entered in any two age divisions. Combinations may be Junior/Intermediate or Intermediate/Senior, or all Youth.
- Sub-Juniors may not be combined with older age divisions. Sub-Juniors are demonstration only classes. All participants shall receive a ribbon.
Alpaca Eligibility:
- Alpacas must be ARI registered.
- Alpacas must belong to or be leased by or loaned to the youth, their family, the project group, or a 4-H/FFA club.
- Alpacas shown in youth classes by more than one youth shall NOT be shown by any youth in Open performance classes; however, it can be shown by an adult.

Egg & Spoon Race |

Egg & Spoon Race is a fun class.
- The exhibitor and their alpaca partner go through a short obstacle course as quickly as possible with the exhibitor holding an egg sitting on a spoon. The exhibitor may not be touching the egg.
- The exhibitor and their alpaca partner completing the course, without breaking their egg, in the shortest time wins
